Controlling invasive species is a significant part of our business, either as stand-alone projects, or as the first stage in executing site restoration plans.  We have dealt with all of the major and most of the minor invasive plant species found in the Puget Sound region, and can provide concerned land managers with advice and options for control or elimination.  We are licensed herbicide applicators, and recognize the value of judicious use of herbicide as part of an integrated weed management strategy.  We focus on the targeted application of herbicide through spot spraying, cut and dab, frilling, and stem injection.   In addition, we have experience with hand and mechanical removal methods appropriate to each weed species, as well as sheet mulching and other shading techniques.
